Things Overboard

 -Curt
Returning from the lobster bake in Frenchboro, Curt jumped into the dinghy with the backpack on his back.  Since our dinghy damage in Nantucket, we have a slow leak, adding air as needed.  For some reason, it was extremely deflated so when Curt stepped down, it gave and he went for a swim.  The water is freezing so it was not pleasant.  Fortunately, hat, glasses, shoes were not lost.  Somehow, when we returned to the boat the same thing happened to Cindy but somehow she didn’t go in.  Bruised and sore knees prevented the fall into the water and a lucky recovery.  The next day Curt found may bruises too.  Living on a boat, we both look like we have been abused – bruises, burns, scrapes, cuts, abrasions.

Camera
In the above mentioned backpack.

-Curt's favorite "Second Cyn" cap at Fisher's Island.  It didn't sink so he jumped into the dinghy to retrieve.  Too bad the dinghy choose that moment to run out of gas.

New York City

Cruising up the New York Harbor with the skyline, The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the new Freedom Tower in sight.  Amazing!
Anchoring for the night behind the Statue.  Dodging ferries and freighters.

Cuttyhunk, MA

Sadly watching a fishing boat and capsize with minutes.

Richmond Island, ME - sailboat anchored close by blew on the rocks during a storm.
