AIS 600 transceiver adding safety and convenience to our vessel. It allows
mariners to receive AIS target data as well as transmit vessel information to other AIS receivers in the area. It aids in collision avoidance by helping users track and contact anyone in the area who has a unit; we know visibility of boat traffic around and we can be seen by other vessels at sea. It is integrated with our chartplotter, VHF radio, GPS, and radar, sounding an alarm to avoid a collision.

With her raised pilothouse and sturdy profile, she is a serious offshore passagemaker. The pilothouse style was a must when we purchased her. We can operate the boat from the pilothouse in complete privacy from the rest of the boat. Twin sliding doors provide quick access to the bow (front) of the boat, upper decks, and a watch berth is filled abaft the helm (behind the wheel). The watch berth provides a comfortable bed for the co-captain or overnight passengers. Also, it has a dinette that seats 6+ for a meal, serves as our desk/office area, and a comfortable place for guests to enjoy the ride.
Behind helm, dinette and watch berth.
